Beginning to think of their country,
from seeing with their eyes,
and hearing about the past,
from Fidel, Che and the Bay of Pigs,
JFK, Martin, Luther and Muhammad Ali,
and with Truman the world did see,
how delusional they were,
Just how they hurt you and me.

Blair, Bush did their best to persuade,
using allies and now media,
with old tricks and lies,
resulted in our blood for oil war,
And then blamed the most ill informed spies.

Five years on and we're still at war,
with countless casualties,
We're no better off than before,
So when history looks back,
Will they see if for its face value,
or will they see what we all saw.
