Testing, Testing, 123.

For those who know me, I view life as a series of tests and challenges that build you as a person and define the journey you're about to embark on through your life. I think the challenges you'll face come in different formats. It could be your health, your family or a close friend and then an event tied to those. How you are able to react, handle and deal with those situations is what really does define you. As stated earlier it can either make you or break the person that everyone though you were. You may also go through a change in yourself to realise that what you always thought you were was actually not a very reliable depiction of who you are.

As you progress through each of your situations you learn more about yourself and your own integrity. The problem arises when the challenge comes and you don’t push yourself enough to stand up to it and you end up backing down and resorting to the easy route out. This doesn’t help you as a person and can only harm you. Whereas your persona may in fact remain intact the truth is underneath that you’re still scared and afraid of the change that the world will bring you.

Its easier to stand up and be counted now than realising two years in the future you’ve missed the chance of having a wonderfully individual moment that changed you as a person for the remainder of your life. Perhaps the biggest part of life is the guess work in deciding when to stand up and when to back down but the truth of the matter is that you’re never right one hundred percent of the time and you just have to hope and pray that your call on a matter was the right one.
