At work, we've recently had lots of repairs in. At present, there is a paper based system that we use to book systems in and record details of the repairs we complete. The current system is also prone to error, slow and not the best to use. I started outlining a framework for a new system to handle repairs. A system that would allow customer interaction with us, and provide a method of customers checking the status of their repairs online.

Due to the fact I've coded many systems in my life, and the coupling fact that this system would help me at work, I decided to write our own internal system to handle repairs (it is also going to be extended to the processing of new builds too). The screen shot right shows what the technician side of the interface is like.

It'll hopefully be finished within a few days as I also have some work on projects to get finished and also a few sites for work to be completed.
