Synfinaty KB

I've just added a knowledge base system for Synfinaty. It'll be easier to document things for the users there. The first article there is adding an email account to Thunderbird.

jkTXT.com

I've placed together a project that will hold jokes that can be emailed (primarily from mobile phones) and store them online. You can view the site at jktxt.com and submit jokes via s@jktxt.com.

I saw this clip this morning, and it was rather brilliant to see the outcome.

skedit and MovieNET

I've just upgraded to the newest version of skEdit, and its brilliant. All annoyances and bugs gone and coding is back to being a happy process. In other news, MovieNET is mostly complete and working - test it out and report any bugs to using the method within the site.

Site Changes

I've made a number of changes to the site over the past two days, and removed a lot of old unused content. Things should hopefully move a little better now. The main changes regarding functionality of the site are as follows:
  • NikePlus+ statistics added to show run information and data per run
  • Removed MovieNET from within the site, its going to become its own project
  • Music page now shows the actual play count of Most Played songs
  • Photo's should all now display a caption (this was a fixed bug)
  • Articles section now works completely, you will only see all available articles to you if you are logged in, otherwise standard public articles will show.
  • Articles you can see are now listed in the right menu
  • Maps now properly and each map you can view is listed in the right menu
  • The Virgin Media/NTL cache statistics now update again too, they're tested every two hours

Our Voice

In your last words,
Is this your last regret,
Will you say what you've done,
The turmoil you caused,
This ceaseless pursuit,
for that which is not yours.

You gave our blood for oil,
Our currency is sterling, not life,
You took their kids,
You took their dreams,
In uncertainty and times past,
Vindicated leaders show their colours.

This is our voice,
This is our dissent,
this is how we hurt,
standing for what we believe in,
but it is not us who should be ashamed,
it wasn't our immoral sin.

Insomniac Dreams

Taking four steps forward,
the world always pushes me three steps back.
I go to bed give hours early,
and still wake at 4am nearly.

Save up all my time,
to spend with you today,
As deaf as I sometimes am,
I only came to hear you say.
Sitting wide awake,
only my dreams of being asleep.
In my mind; does it smile, or does it weep?

This creative inspired mind,
pushing what I know more,
My mind wanders and aches,
as everything else does apart from my jaw,
Silent in my words, spoken in my mind instead,
Its only myself that I wish I could help find,
Instead I'm just pale, laying in bed.
